Arlene Overton

Arlene E. Overton is a native of Youngstown, Ohio and the youngest of seven children. At an early age, Arlene knew she would use the anointed and beautiful voice God gave her to praise and bring Him glory. Over her lifetime she has become an accomplished singer, having ministered in song at social, civic and community events, as well as, to the body of Christ. In addition to ministering in song, she has worked tirelessly with youth ministry for many years and has represented both her church and employer on numerous speaking engagements.

Arlene received her Bachelors Degree in Nursing from Youngstown State University where she pledged to Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. She was the first African American manager for the Youngstown Office of the Ohio Bureau of Workers Compensation; where she worked for 25 years before retiring in 2006. This dynamic wife, mother, nurse, administrator, manager, singer, speaker and most of all God's woman, is ready to share with you what God has placed in her voice and her heart. Arlene and husband Samuel relocated to Charlotte, North Carolina where they are enjoying retirement and the absence of snow and ice.
